Women's Health Service

The Women’s Health Service at Plenty Valley Community Health provides services especially for the care of women. It is run by an experienced nurse who is both qualified in Midwifery and Sexual and Reproductive Health, and is a fully credentialled Pap Test provider.

The Women's Health nurse provides women with a consultation which can incorporate a health check such as a Pap Test. There are also opportunities to discuss and seek information about many women's health issues (eg breast health, healthy lifestyles, contraception, premenstrual syndrome, menopause, pregnancy, and continence.

Information sessions about women's health are also available to local women's groups on a range of health topics.

Eligibility

All women can make an appointment to see the women's health nurse.

If required, female interpreters are available free of charge. Please advise us when you make an appointment.
