Plenty Valley Community Health provides healthcare and support services to people of all ages, with a strong focus on health promotion, treatment and the prevention of illness and injury. Our qualified and professional staff work with people to regain and maintain their physical independence and social and emotional well-being.

Consumer and Community Participation

Community and consumer participation is vital in ensuring that the service and its programmes remain relevant and address the health and well-being of the community. We are continuously looking at ways in which different methods of consumer and community feedback are incorporated into both our planning and service delivery. This work is overseen by the Community Liaison Sub Committee and we are interested in exploring innovative ways of involving the community. To this end, we regularly conduct surveys and focus groups with clients (and their carers) of the service and hold special interest forums and open days.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the organisation or would like to find out more about how you can assist in shaping how your community health service operates, please contact us.
Our newsletter can be found on our News page. Just click on the News tab at the top of this page.

Programs and services are targetted primarily to the community of Whittlesea and neighbouring municipalities and with specialist programs having a broader regional and sub-regional catchment.
